frame after frame after frame...

same topic as in the post before. strange humans.
i really liked doing this, even if it wasn't an assignment and a whole bunch of work. every frame you see is drawn by hand (with my wacom tablet and flash). there are only few loops in and only one motion tween (the falling leave). the rest is really drawn frame after frame after frame...
each time i'm doing something like this, i love seeing how the things come to life. i also like the style of this kind of animation, has it's own flair somehow.
it's not the final version, i have to rework some timing and the sound. i thought about asking someone from the conservatorium to record unique sound for it. yepp, i have to do so...

tekenlab

this is something i did for the "tekenlab", some kind of illustration workshop i am following weekly. i like drawing and i like showing people how stupid and primitive we humans are.
the black frame is only for you to see the borders, which would otherwise melt into the white background.

the same idea as last time, but a bit more dynamic.

i talked about the tamtam animation with some teachers and we came to the idea, that you could do a lot more with the typography. if you put the both t's together they make a nice form.

vvnr logo

vvnr mean "vereniging vrienden van de nationale reisopera". it's the opera we already made this poster for. we should now think of a logo for it's friends association. i wondered what the connection between the opear and it's frinds is, and came up with the curtain-idea. i wanted it to look a bit abstract, but i hope you still get it...

ITS another one!

ok, i think that's it now. i've talked with my teacher about it again, and we came to the conclusion, that if the text would look ripped off the bottom it should be better. so i did it. additionally, when i print it i'll really rip the bottom off i think. we'll see.
anyways, me and also my teacher are really satisfied with the result.
